 When you purchase a workspace, a local non-profit or start-up will also receive a space to work within the building free of charge. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with them as a mentor or advisor. Not only is our space affordable, you'll be making a difference locally in Bermondsey too.

You’ll be joining a mix of businesses (local and non-local, for-profit and non-profit) which you won’t find elsewhere.

Keeton's & Collett will also feature an urban farming project - Green Lab, a social enterprise and permaculture lab focused on developing sustainable food systems and urban agriculture initiatives by bringing together food related startups. One of the start-ups inside Green Lab is Friche; they will produce 50 lettuces every fortnight via a vertical window farm in the main entry space, which also acts as a building screen. Workspace users will take part in the growing, and there will be monthly community lunches and supper clubs in the Green Lab.

BuyGiveWork means for every space you purchase we will provide a space free of charge for a local start-up or non-profit. These organisations will be will be selected with support from partners as well as yourselves. You will be introduced to the organisation you are supporting and will have the opportunity to mentor and work with them. 

The price includes high speed WiFi, all utilities, free meeting and event space, 24 hour access and on-site security, introduction to recipient of the free space and mentoring opportunities as part of BuyGiveWork, and the opportunity to participate in multiple growing (and eating) opportunities provided by the Green Lab. 

The building has 2 large spaces for events, multiple communal areas for making phone calls and informal meet-ups, and sits within a wider campus with an abundance of open space and outdoor seating. All 2 minutes walk from Bermondsey tube.

This is for a desk space and all the same services provided to the other businesses. However allocation of private rooms will be limited.  There will be an option to receive support from a range of mentors including the business sponsoring your use of the space. The desk space will be allocated to you as and when a paid for space is purchased, however this will be on-going regardless of if the paid member leaves. 

The desk space and services will be provided to you free of charge. However you must have your own public liability insurance, and pay a fully refundable deposit of £250.

 Application Criteria:

Start-ups must have a Bermondsey (or LB Southwark) based director or other claim to the area and be less than 6 months incorporated.

Non-profits must be either a registered charity or other non-profit, and be serving the needs of those in Southwark or surrounding south London areas.
